What is Artificial stone?

Artificial Stone is a material used in construction, which is usually solid but may contain some void spaces.  It may be a mixture of cement, gypsum, expansive clay, and sand, often found as a compact, solid lump that is usually a mixture of these materials. In the context of construction, it is used as a component of concrete or mortar, in the production of ceramics or bricks, and in products such as ceramic glazes, and cements.

Artificial stone is a manufactured material that is used in architecture and building products.  It is typically manufactured by using binding agents such as cement, lime, or gypsum to bind together components such as sand, gravel, and stone chips. 

Artificial stone is man-made stone or brick that closely resembles natural stone or brick, but is not as hard or as strong. It is made by combining two or more materials together. It is made from a mixture of natural stone and man-made materials, such as stone, brick, concrete, or cement. Typically, artificial stone is not as strong as natural stone, so it is best for use where a heavy load is not expected.

Artificial stone is a material that is used for most purposes other than wall and floor coverings. It most commonly comes in the form of a compacted, stone-like substance that is created by a process involving the mixing of clay and sand.
